About

Granite Asia is a Singapore-headquartered multi-asset investment platform investing across venture capital, growth equity, private credit, and public capital. Founded in 2000 as Granite Global Ventures and previously known as GGV Capital, the firm adopted the Granite Asia name in March 2024 following the geographic separation of GGV Capital's Asia and United States operations, with the US business becoming Notable Capital. Granite Asia carries forward the Asia team, portfolio, and 26-year investment record. The firm is led by Senior Managing Partners Jenny Lee and Jixun Foo, both long-standing members of the Forbes Midas List, and manages USD 10 billion in assets under management and co-managed capital. It invests from Series A through growth and pre-IPO stages across China, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Japan, and Australia, leading rounds with typical checks of USD 3 million to USD 50 million. The firm has backed 127 companies valued above USD 1 billion and supported 65 IPOs worldwide, with historic portfolio companies including Alibaba, Grab, and Xiaomi. Recent investments include ChemLex, an AI-driven chemical discovery company establishing its global headquarters in Singapore, which raised USD 45 million in a Granite Asia-led round; Centific, an AI data infrastructure company that raised a USD 60 million Series A led by the firm; and VFlowTech, a Singapore vanadium flow battery manufacturer that raised USD 20.5 million. Five portfolio companies listed and a further ten filed for IPO in the six months to February 2026. Granite Asia provides equity, non-dilutive structured credit, and IPO-stage capital from a single platform. Its private credit strategy, Libra Hybrid Capital, held a first close above USD 350 million in December 2025, anchored by Temasek, Khazanah Nasional Berhad, and the Indonesia Investment Authority. In February 2026 the firm entered a three-year partnership with DBS and closed a USD 110 million AI IPO fund for DBS wealth clients. Granite-Integral, a USD 100 million joint venture with Japan's listed private equity firm Integral Corporation, backs companies expanding into and out of Japan. The firm also holds a USD 1.2 billion mandate from the Indonesia Investment Authority to invest in Indonesian technology companies.
