Launch Alaska

Launch Alaska is a nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the deployment of climate technology to decarbonize critical systems such as energy, transportation, and industry. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, Launch Alaska was established in 2016 with a mission to catalyze the state’s clean energy economy by fostering innovation and supporting climate tech startups. The organization runs an intensive eight-month Tech Deployment Track accelerator program designed for mid- to late-stage startups. This program is uniquely tailored to help companies develop and deploy their technologies in Alaska’s challenging environment, which is particularly suitable for innovations in cold climates, such as direct air carbon capture and long-duration energy storage. The Tech Deployment Track connects startups with key partners, project opportunities, and a robust network of industry experts, government agencies, and local communities.
