Pracuj Ventures

Pracuj Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Grupa Pracuj, one of Poland's dominant HR and recruitment groups and operator of the leading Polish job board Pracuj.pl. The fund was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, with additional presence in Ukraine. It was established by Grupa Pracuj co-founders Maciej Artur Noga, Pawel Leks, and Przemyslaw Gacek, who contribute both capital and deep HR-domain expertise to portfolio companies. Pracuj Ventures focuses on early-stage HR technology, work-tech, and education and learning-and-development technology startups across Poland, Ukraine, and Central and Eastern Europe. The firm leads rounds at seed stage, with selective pre-seed and Series A follow-ons. Typical initial checks average approximately $1.5 million within a range of $100,000 to $5 million. The team of approximately five people, including two partners, leverages Grupa Pracuj's enterprise distribution network and HR customer relationships as a meaningful strategic advantage for portfolio companies. As of April 2025 the fund has made 16 disclosed investments and recorded two acquisitions: CareerFoundry and Kadromierz. Notable active portfolio companies include PeopleForce (an all-in-one HR platform, for which Pracuj led a $2 million Seed in February 2024 and co-led a $5.38 million Pre-Series A in April 2025 alongside u.ventures, Dnipro VC, and Sturgeon Capital) and Gamfi (an employee gamification and engagement platform). Pracuj Ventures occupies a structurally advantaged position in CEE HR tech: as an arm of the region's largest job platform, it can offer portfolio companies immediate access to employer relationships, anonymized labor-market data, and distribution pathways that an independent fund simply cannot replicate. This strategic edge is most valuable for companies building recruitment software, workforce analytics, and employee experience tools targeting Eastern European enterprises.
