Spring Ventures is an Israeli publicly traded deep-tech innovation hub and multi-stage venture firm founded in 1999 and led by Aviv Refuah, one of Israel's earliest internet entrepreneurs. Headquartered in Tel Aviv and listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Spring operates with additional offices in New York. The firm describes itself as a partner for 'visionary founders for the long term' and pursues a highly concentrated deep-tech investment strategy, leading rounds at seed and Series A in breakthrough B2B SaaS and technology companies capable of reshaping industry landscapes. The portfolio remains deliberately compact -- 10 disclosed active companies managed by a team of 8, including 6 partners. The firm has extended its reach through cross-investments in Journey Ventures and Wellborn Ventures, acquiring a 19% stake in Wellborn Ventures for $2.1 million in November 2017. Spring's most celebrated outcome is Perimeter 81 -- a Zero Trust Secure Network-as-a-Service company into which Spring led a $5 million round and which was ultimately acquired by Check Point Software for $490 million in August 2023. Most recent disclosed investment was the $1 million seed round of Liberty Pixel, which Spring led together with Journey Venture.
