Handling lukewarm feedback
It happens to everyone. Getting tough feedback is hard, but asking for it is the first step in the right direction. The biggest mistake founders make is ignoring feedback and launching a product that fails. You've already avoided that pitfall by seeking input. Now, use it to pivot.
First, understand what’s missing in your product and why it’s not solving the pain points. Talk to your users to identify what needs to change. Work together to modify the product, think of new use cases, and refine it until it fits their needs.
Ensure you're talking to the right people and have correctly identified your audience. This is crucial. If you're confident in your audience but still get negative feedback, take it as a learning opportunity. Collaborate with initial users to find a product variation that meets market demands and gains acceptance.
