Integrating feedback

At pre-seed and seed stages, where the traction might be minimal, early feedback is super helpful in validating the idea, generating some buzz and de-risking for the investor. Here’s how you can weave it into your deck:

🧜🏻‍♀️ Add early feedback to the traction slide: Real users wanting to use your product can be demonstrated by adding some early feedback to your traction slide.

🧶 Provide a separate feedback slide: If you have lots of positive feedback, provide a separate slide. Make it snappy.

🤓 Make it number-based: Quantify your feedback wherever possible. For example:

"We interviewed 50 customers; 90% expressed excitement about the product."

"25 customers have signed up as beta testers."

🦀 Use snappy, specific testimonials: rather than long, generic quotes, use quotes that are short, pointed and convincing – ones that communicate specific value propositions.

“This product will save me twice as much time.”

“I’m ready to pay ten times more than for my current solution.”

“This is a game changer; I’d switch immediately.”

🔩 Align feedback with value propositions: Make sure the feedback directly relates to the key points in your pitch. Copy-and-paste quotes that support your unique features and differentiation in the marketplace.
