Futureland Ventures is a Washington, DC-based venture capital syndicate founded in 2021 by Mitchell Kominsky, who previously served as Director of Government Affairs for Self-Driving Vehicles, Transportation, and Smart Cities at the Consumer Technology Association. The firm is comprised of entrepreneurs, angel investors, venture capitalists, technology executives, government leaders, and alumni of top universities including the Stanford Graduate School of Business — a community with first-hand experience in infrastructure disruption, regulatory change, and emerging technology deployment. The syndicate invests at pre-seed and seed stages with a sweet spot of $100,000 and a range of $50,000 to $250,000. Futureland focuses on technologies creating a more sustainable, resilient, inclusive, and connected future.
