Generic GTM
Generic GTM plans? They’re a recipe for failure. Here’s why:
A generic GTM strategy means you're doing the same thing as everyone else. You’re doing the same thing as everyone else, with no competitive advantage, no edge. Investors don’t want to fund vanilla products that you can get 100 other places for 100 other people. They want to fund something unique.
You need your GTM plan to be smart and innovative. It has to become your moat – your secret weapon. Demonstrate how you’ll get to your market early and efficiently and leave everyone else behind.
After all, it’s not enough to simply get your product to the market. The point of a GTM strategy is to do this in a way that others can’t easily replicate – and that’s what makes your plan and your startup interesting to investors.
