King of the jungle
If you want investors to know you have the best solution, don’t lead with a list of features. Investors don't care about your product’s features. Features are easy to copy. Instead, do this.
🍁 Think in terms of value. Zero in on how your solution delivers value. What is the true benefit? Does it save time? Lower cost? Enhance experience? Pinpoint the core value and how it transforms your customer’s life or business.
👾 Quantify the benefits. Numbers speak louder than words. Always show data to back up your claims. If your solution is time-efficient, tell us exactly how much. If it increases productivity, provide the figures. You want your case to be made with measure, not with mere words. It makes your case stronger.
🌾 Highlight quality. Show your solution in terms of quality: if it costs 5x less or generates 7x revenue potential – then show it to investors. Use testimonials and quotes – this adds weight. Real-world examples speak volumes.
🏓 Compare competitors. Don’t shy away from direct comparisons. If your offering competes with others, be direct: list your product next to theirs and offer a comparative assessment (ideally objective).
