Presenting retention
Always make a separate slide for retention and user love. Keep it simple with a title like ‘Customers love us and refer more customers’ or ‘Community adore our solution’. Make it visual and easy to understand. Combine the qualitative and quantitative metrics together.
For qualitative metrics, include user testimonials, reviews from verified sources such as Trustpilot, G2, or the App Store, and the number of stars or ratings people have given you. For the quantitative side, include charts exhibiting usage growth, cohort data showing increases in growth, and big, bold numbers, such as a high net promoter score (NPS), or a position at the top of the App Store.
Craft the slide by using a mix of charts and quotes to balance data with personal stories. Make the numbers and testimonials larger than life, but don’t forget to still tell a story at a glance. A great moment can be a 90 NPS score accompanied by a quote from a major enterprise client. ‘What we love about your product.’ A ‘Usage’ chart rising steadily, accompanied by a 5-star App Store review explaining how and why users are so fond of your solution. Bold text to highlight any achievements: ‘Number 1 on the App Store.’ ‘Highest-rated in our category on G2.’
Layering strong testimonials with glowing metrics will yield a slide detailing user love and retention.
